Good location, close to subway station. Clean and cozy rooms. Comfortable beds. Individual heating in the room.
Thin doors, depending on the neighbours it might get noisy sometimes.

I went during Thanksgiving weekend. It was the best price option as well with being a 3 star hotel.
Saturday morning I called downstairs to have towels brought up to my room and no one came. Once I returned for Shoppin their were still no towels. The vending machine was not working so I then went downstairs for water. It took them more than an hour to deliver it to my room.

The location to where I was working at was very close. It was also close to the train stattions which made additional travel easier. The staff was pleasant.
The room was not clean the corners had built up dust and there were noodles on the floor between the closet and dresser upon check in. The breakfast was not what was expected. the food was not freshly made but frozen unwrapped microwave sausage and omelet egg, no waffles was available.

The shower was a mess, and the coffee machine did you not work.

We missed my sister funeral because after napping got up to find NO shower head but TOWELS.....

Noise from other guests & room was not cleaned properly, build up of dirt around the edge of the carpet.

Call the front desk for a problem with TV i was told i be right there waited 25 min call again same thing happen waited 25 no one came my wife call he told her he coming now waited another 35 min no one came. the room was okay but bad electrical short desk lamp outlet bad short Went to use the iron it did not work it would come on and then go out . On Thursday night while watching TV 2 i repeat 2 rodents enter the room under the door . my wife was upset she did not want to stay any more. The hotel is located between a junk yard and a repair shop i was born here in New York . i know about rodents i sorry that not how you run a hotel. But i guess you get what sign up for .

The location is sub-standard and never think as a city.No restaurants and shops near by the hotel.The only advantage is subway(6 train) is 5 minutes walk from the Hotel and 45 minutes(6,4/5 trains) travel to Manhattan(South Ferry).

I We love the services of cleaning staff (Julia) she was excellent, and the youngest men of the front desk, sorry i do not remember his name... location, services, value, comfort was very good.if you are looking for something not expense to have a nice weekend at NY this is the place.... Sheridan hotel...!!
the first Room that they give us, it was the #102 1st floor, close to a very noise machine that do not let us sleep the first night, But thanks God next day they change us to other Room, that it was a lot better.
